We are based out of Greenwood IN, so we can meet-up in person anywhere within ~1 hour drive from there. Otherwise, we can communicate virtually and ship via USPS and UPS.

What can I expect when ordering custom stained glass?

After filling out this google form Custom Stained Glass Form

You can expect to hear back from us within 72 hours. We will work together to determine the right price range, size, and your design requirements. After our initial chat, we will send you a few rough drawings to narrow down the design and color choices. Then we will finalize the drawing and colors and send you a final quote with the agreed upon details, a timeline, and an approximate price range. After you sign, we will begin work on your piece ( some pieces may require a deposit). We will send you progress updates periodically and when we finish we will send final pictures to make sure the product matches what you wanted . Lastly we will box it up (with lots of padding to keep our new friend safe from bumps) and ship it off to you!(if you're local we can do this part in person)

How do you price your glass art?

Each piece is priced by a variety of factors (type and color of glass, size and complexity of the piece, and the finish chosen are some factors) that we can change and adapt depending on your budget.

Do you install the glass?

No. While we do not install the glass ourselves, we will work with your contractor/handyman of your choice to help you get your piece installed

Do you do stained glass repair?

We only do repairs on pieces that we originally made, but we recommend Classic Stained Glass in North Vernon for repairs on other artists pieces.

What stained glass technique do you use?

We use the copper foil method, also known as the Tiffany method. With this method, we cut out and grind the glass into the exact shapes we want it, wrap the edges in copper foil tape, then solder it all together!

What if my piece arrives broken?

We take great care in packaging our work to ensure it arrives safely, however things happen and sometimes "Fragile" boxes aren't treated very nicely in shipping. If the package is damaged when you get it, please take lots of pictures to document this before you open it. If the piece inside arrives broken please reach out to us immediately!

What if my piece breaks later?

If we made it we will repair it! Reach out to us (with some pictures) and we will get you an estimate for repair. Some glass is no longer available, so if we cant get it anymore, we will have to replace it with glass as similar to the original as possible.

Is there any special care needed for my new piece of glass?

In general, stained glass is very low maintenance! Typically you will only need to wipe off fingerprints and dust with our polising cloth, or any soft cloth will do. If it happens to get dirty in a way that you can't just wipe off with a cloth, you can clean it with a mild dish soap (something with a fairly neutral ph) or your favorite window cleaner and a microfiber cloth. Just be aware that this usually weakens or takes the protective wax off your piece, so you will likely need to wax it again after using soap or window cleaner. If you notice it starting to look dull or the solder starts oxidizing (you will usually see small white, chalky marks) then it's time to apply some wax to your piece. There are many great and easy Youtube tutorials for this but it is super easy! Simply apply some wax, wait for it to haze over, and buff it off with a soft cloth. We use a stained glass polishing/finishing compound with carnauba wax.

As for fused glass, it is much less picky! Just don’t microwave them or put them in the dishwasher and you should be fine! Fused glass can be hand washed with your regular dishes or just wiped with a clean cloth. No waxing required.

Why is shipping so expensive?

We did several calculations to arrive on base rate prices broken down by weight. The shipping costs include the packaging materials we need to keep the glass safe on its journey and the time it takes for us to properly package it. It is likely that we can find cheaper shipping than the base rate calculated at checkout, so if that is the case we will just refund you the money saved!

What packing materials do you use?

All of our stained glass pieces, except for our ornaments and smaller fused glass items, are sandwiched between wood to keep them from harm. They are wrapped in compostable foam and paper bubble wrap between the wood layers, and the outside is filled with biodegradable packing peanuts and recyclable fill paper. We try our best to keep packaging as eco friendly as possible while still making it affordable. It would make us so happy if you recycled our paper and cardboard packaging after you are done with it!
